You mean that this motherboard just would not work with USB keys (in general)
But without jokes, this USB key works fine on every computer I see/use.
Besides, blaming the USB key is more an (poor) excuse than admitting that the motherboard isn't compatible.
My I ask why the other motherboards are working fine with it??
Hi, sorry if my answer seemed flippant, it wasn't meant to be and it wasn't a joke as I have found that some USB drives can just be fussy. Trying a different USB stick is just another option that might not have been considered.
I am not running the same board as you, I have a GA790XTA-UD4 my ScanDisk USB Drives work OK with this board but my friends ASUS Mobo doesn't like them, I don't know why, as his board accepts other USB sticks without issue. On the other hand my sister has a generic USB Drive that just doesn't like my PC but works OK with my laptop. I don't know why this is and have never really understood how a USB Stick can work on one machine but then not on another.
I'm not saying that it is the case in this situation and yesterday I asked runn3R to have a look at this thread, as I am concerned that there does seem to be a problem. I also had a chat with DM about it but we are at a loss to explain why there is a problem.
