What Main BIOS and Backup BIOS versions are you running?

The main bios is the newest FE version. Not sure what the backup bios version is.

Is that critical to know? How would I find out?

If you go into the BIOS on the main screen press F9 for system info. It will give you the versions of both BIOSes. If they are not the same it might be a good idea to synchronise them.

To do that, reboot and where you would normally press DEL to enter the BIOS, instead press Alt + F12, this will flash the Backup BIOS with the MAIN BIOS contents.

Do not worry when you see a recovery comment, that is normal and means it is flashing the backup BIOS.

well unfortunately this problem is still not fixed, even after updating the backup bios.

What should I do next?

Can you provide more detailed information about disabling the power saving modes?

Is the USB3 the usb3.0 high speed port? I would like to use that as I have a NAS device connected to iit..

OK but you could disable the USB3 high speed port just as a diagnostic measure and then enable it again afterwards.

The power saving modes are EIST, C1,C3, C5,etc

Ive been having this problem since getting this board.

Ive updated the bios each time a new rev comes out but still having the issuse of network adapor vanishing from within windows device manager.

This is driving me crazy.

Have you tried disabling the USB3 ports in the BIOS?

In that case then I can only assume it is a BIOS problem but why the LAN should just disappear is beyond me.

Do you have any of the free Gigabyte utilites installed?

I also have still this problem (as I mentioned in my older posts in this thread). I tried to disable all settings like Shutdown Wake-On-Lan etc. of the Network adapter in Device manager but with no progress.

The problem does not appear very often, but sometimes it does...

It looks like that it happens if I leave the power plugged for longer time before I turn the PC on. in my case it still helps to turn off the PC, unplug it form power a and then trun it on again. But I wonder to find more definitive solution of the problem :-) And I would also like to know what causes it, it looks very strange

Yes, I unchecked Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power in Device manager. I tried max performance profile, no changes...
