x58a ud3r, no network adapter shown
« on: November 10, 2010, 01:56:28 am »

got a x58a ud3r.
nomally it will work fine.
sometimes when start the PC, no network adapter shown, either in the 'device manager' or 'network and sharing center'.
but, if i un-plug the power,(nomally i left it pluged in) for few mins, plug it back in and turn on the pc, the adapter will come back.
any idea what the problem is? ???

power supply? sleep mode? ???

Your certainly not alone.

I found a fix very similar to yours and posted it here

I never use sleep mode so It can't be that.

As for the Power Supply i doubt it given it works for a few weeks then suddenly stops working out of the blue when turning the pc on in the morning at work.
