**BSOD issue on GA-P55A-UD3
« on: November 16, 2010, 01:34:12 pm »
Hi everyone ,

I was using the GA-P55A-UD3 REV2.0 situation there have been many BSOD encountered before the users are similar. Since I am not proficient in computers, so I would like to ask you can solve the problem now

First, let me first describe the problems related to the computer, the computer within twelve hours from time to time there will be two to three times a BSOD. And I was most troubling, is that if the night off after two to three hours a day, can not enter the WINDOWS, BSOD and then the case of each person there will be three to four times, (BUG CHECK STRING: MEMORY MANAGEMENT., NTRNLPA.EXE .)

The recommendations based on past you, I make the following action.
1. Try RAMTEST V4.1 RAM on a single test, most of all through and there can not FAIL message.
2. In the BIOS of the MIT-> ADAVANECED MEM. SETTING -> "PERFORMANCE ENHACE" converted by the TURBO STANDRAD.
3. Try to use a different hard drive / GRAPHIC CARD / RAM (KINGSTON KVR1333D3N92G-SP CL9-9-9 24), but all have failed to successfully RAMTEST V 4.1
4. I do not have any OVERCLOCKING and all voltages are automatic.

Is this related to the RAM will be compatible with the motherboard? The problem I have spent two weeks on this computer. Do I need to buy a computer repair shop to make it?

Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

I think one of your problems is the PSU. I couldn't find any real infoprmation on it on the web but I take it that it is 510W output. This is a bit low especially for the hardware you are using. I would recommend at least 650W with a single 12V rail.

The other thing you might try is to run Memtest86+ on your memory modules one at a time for at least ten loops each.

Thanks for your advice  !.

Actually , i have wrong typing about ramtest . It should be "Memtest86+ " that i tried   , but many fail messages came out even though 1 ram insertion / diff brand of ram used.

BTW  ,  i would to have  naive questions ? Is it neccesarry for me to chose the ram listed on GIGABYTE 's coorespoding mobo? CL 8-8-8 / CL9-9-9 would be another clue for problem sloving  ?

It takes time for me to have try with 650 Power supply test  and i will post the progress of test reult soon.
Thanks again for your kind advice .

I would advise you to use memory that is of known compatibility with the motherboard. In other words make sure that either the memory is on the Gigabyte QVL for your motherboard or that the motherboard is listed against the memory modules on the memory manufacturer's QVL. Also make sure that you buy them as a matched kit not seperately.
