Hello!
Im using a GA-MA790FXT-UD5P motherboard. And i got my new RAM today that i was about to install. Corsair Dominator 4x2Gb 1333mhz DDR3.
So basically i unplugged all the cables, used an anti-static bracelet and just popped out the old rams, whic also where Corsair DDR3, but only 667mhz, and only 3x1GB.
Inserted the new RAMs, and booted up. But all I get is an continous beep for about 5 seconds then it tries to reboot. I tried just using 1 stick at the time to remove the possiblity of faulty sticks, but still the same. Then I tried my old ones again (which were working fine btw) and I still get the beeps.
I've tried checking every chord so nothing is loose, and i believe i seated the RAMs good, although they seem very easy to remove, the clips or whatever u call it doesnt seat the ram by itself when pushing it down, you have to shut them yourself. I
