I have two DVI monitors. And one that only has a VGA connection.
I bought the gigabyte HD 5750
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3402#ov thinking that since it had two DVI outputs, as well as a VGA out, that i could use all 3. Well, it looks like i dun goofed. I'm running win 7 32, and when i try to extend my desktop to the 3rd monitor, it wont allow it. Neither will the cards control center "catalyst".
Well, with research, the only thing i can come up with is either getting a second card and connecting them via crossfire, or using this adaptor recommended by someone in another forum.
http://www.directron.com/apdpvga.htmlalthough, i have no idea how or why it makes it work, or how it connects.
There is no way to do this with some software?
If windows only recognizes 2 monitors, then how are people with 2 video cards doing 3 monitors?
