help with drivers required for the system

hi


i want to update all the correct drivers for my MB GA-MA 785GT-UD3H

i downloaded what i found  from the Product page in gigabyte

is it all the drivers i need for all the chipset, controller, chips, devices on the MB?

all the drivers for the whole MB is on that page?

Yes as far as I know all the drivers that you need are on the same page of the website.

alright, i just remember on my previous Gigabyte Mb nvidia chipset based it had controller drivers (of the IDE DRIVES )

and stuff now i see that windows handle it , is it ok  cause these are some old drivers of windows XP 2001

As long as you download the relevant drivers for your Operating System there shouldn't be a problem.

ok man

i have another issue with the BIOS  updating,
 
when i download the @bios program to update my bios it gave error when trying to install the program

"open device failure" or something i researched  a bit and found out  the probably cause its because i didnt  install windows fresh instal

i installed it on existed OP, but i thought that shouldnt be problem since i  replace all windows folder files .

i dont plan fresh install windows   soon do you have solution ?

Yes you were lucky!

We don't recommend using the @BIOS program as it sits on top of the OS and that makes it far more likely to fail and that is not good!!!

Use the QFlash utility which is part of the BOIS and disable the Keep DMI Data on the QFlash homepage. If you need any more info on how to do it we have produced a FAQ on How to Update the BIOS. It can be found here:

i dont think i have the usb stick (i will look to find one)
 
is mp3 player connected  with cable is fine?

I can't say I've ever tried with an MP3 player but i don't see why it shouldn't work as long as it is formatted as FAT32. You might find that the machine will have trouble addressing it if it is a large one though as we have found in general that the smaller memory sticks tend to work better.
