Hi,

If you could post back with your full system specs it would be much easier to offer advice.
Have you connected a motherboard speaker to allow you to hear any POST Beeps?
What revision is your motherboard?

OttowaWinter it is because the weather is so cold there at the moment that it has gone into hibernation but if you leave it until about Easter when the days warm up a bit you will find it will wake up and work fine ;D

I recently built a system similar to yours (see sig).

My first board would post OK (signaled by a single beep from the speaker). It would NOT get into the BIOS and display anything (neither by my video card nor the built-in video).

I had to RMA it. The second board worked fine and I am very pleased with it.

In reading the reviews on the Newegg site (where I purchased the board) it APPEARS TO ME that these boards have quality problems. Some work great - some are DOA.

The best advice I can give is to remove the board from the case and place it on a piece of cardboard. Leave nothing but 1 stick of RAM, processor, cooler and video card. Try it that way and see if it gets into the BIOS.

Note that if you use a video card that it fits snuggly down - the cardboard sometimes interferes with this (drove me crazy until I raised the edge of the cardboard a bit).

Plug in BOTH power connectors, case connectors (e. g. power, speaker, reset, etc) and try again.

If it fails - RMA the beast and hope you get one that works.
