ga-ma78g-ds3h 1.0 Audio Noise from hd3200
« on: December 30, 2010, 04:56:03 pm »
Hello Everyone,

I have the ga-ma78g-ds3h rev1.0, the problem is that i hear cpu, hard drive noise from speakers, i know that the problem is the hd3200 because:

when i bought the mobo i had the noise, 3 months ago i bought a sapphire hd5770 1GB and the noise went away, the problem is that i sold the graphic card today and a had to use the hd3200 again and the annoying noise came back.

i know that is not a windows driver problem, beause the noise start when the pc boot screen shows something, before entering windows.

i can hear the sound if i drag, minimize, maximize a window, move the mouse, press the keyboard(right now), open an aplication(of any kind).

the sond is very loud and annoying, ¡Someone help me!

Hi there

are you running the latest BIOS version for your motherboard F9E?

If not you can download it from here: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2800&dl=1#bios and update your BIOS using the QFlash Utility. If you are not sure how to do that check here: http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,2441.0.html

Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

Are you running EasyTune6?
If so try disabling this software as it is known to cause some issue.

Are you using the On-board audio or a separate Sound Card?

Im using the onboard audio, the noise starts before and after windows load, so, is not a software problem. Im not using easy tune, i dont have any overclock in the system.

the problem starts if i use the integrated graphics (hd3200). PLEASE HELP ME!!!

If you are using a USB mouse try moving it to a port further away form the audio outlets.
