Hi and welcome to the Gigabyte Forum.

Do you get any beeps after POST?

Is your hard drive new or have you used it before?

Is your Win7 disk genuine?

Why are you using X58 memory in your motherboard?

1) Do you get any beeps after POST?

 No.

2) Is your hard drive new or have you used it before?

 Everything is new.

3) Is your Win7 disk genuine?

I tried genuine (same problem)
Also tried Microsoft.Windows.7.Enterprise.x64.Integrated.December.2010-BIE (same problem).
I always  get the same error, no matter what win 7  i use.

4) Why are you using X58 memory in your motherboard?

What's wrong with the memory? I bought it because it was the only memory that was in store.
and it should work with my MB, because gygabyte verified it:
http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_ga-p55a-ud4.pdf

I am using only two ram slots.

Hi,

I have encountered this issue before on a system I was building for a friend and it turned out that it was the DVD/CD Drive I was using.

Have you disabled the Floppy Drive support in BIOS?
If not do this as it can make a difference.

Is your system set for AHCI or IDE Mode?
There can be trouble with some DVD/CD drives when attached in AHCI mode.

Can you use a USB Pendrive to install the Operating System?
I have been using this method myself for some time now and have found it a much better method of installing Windows Vista or Windows 7.
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

Hard Disk Boot Priority on page 50 of your manuual describes the way to set the priority correctly.

First/Second/Third Boot Device on the same page shows setting the boot order of devices.
Do you have yours set to USB - HDD?

http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_ga-p55a-ud4(p)_e.pdf

What port is your hard drive attached to?

What port are you trying to boot the USB pendrive from?

What revision is your motherboard?

Have you got the memory in the two white slots DDR3_1 and DDR3_3 ?

Sorry for all the questions but sometimes it is necessary.

When you say to your case do you mean the rear USB ports on the rear panel?

You realise that you would need to change the boot sequence and other factors in the BIOS to boot from IDE?

Don't use the fornt panel USB. Chances are it might not work and you don't need any more variables in the equation.

What BIOS version are you using?

What size is the USB pendrive?
