For what the BIOS resetting is concerned I noticed that whenever I use the reset button (regardless whether the one on-board or the case's) the BIOS will get reset. Maybe this is just a software bug or such, but in case of Blue Screens it is really annoying. It would be nice if this could be fixed.

I would hazard a guess that what is happening is that when it BSOD or you use the reset button the Backup BIOS is being written to the Main BIOS and that is why you lose all your settings.

Agree. What I noticed is that backup BIOS is restored whenever I use reset. On a BSOD you typically also use reset to reset, do you?  8)

I agree that the reset button should behave as just that even after a BSOD. Personally I don't use the reset button at all. I prefer to do a complete shutdown and restart.

It might also be worth mentioning that you shouldn't use the @BIOS that came with the motherboard, you need to download and install the most current version before updating the bios.
