GB-P67A-UD4 (1.0): Core voltage drop under load
«

BIOS: F7B
2600K
42 x 100
Core: 1.275
PLL: 1.780
PLL Overvoltage: Enabled
Load Line Calibration: Enabled
It seems a few people are suffering from this - and changing MB brands which work without issue.
Any ideas? I may swap this for another brand as it seems to be limiting the potential of this setup, it drops 0.1v in some cases. At the moment its dropping 0.015.

Hi
Is this just a glitch in the BIOS version though ?
0.015v is not a big problem I wouldn't say but I agree that 0.1v is a different matter.

I can live with 0.015, which it seems to be consistent at the moment.
That's what I'm hoping - a BIOS update (soon)

My UD3 drops alot aswell, but it lacks the VRM which I guess is what prevents big drops. But under max load it drops 0.1v which is alot. Just find it weird there is a LLC setting on my board since it only helps with 0.01v if even that.

Might this be a problem with different power supplies, since it seems to be happening only with some people, but not all? If it was a board or bios problem, then everyone would be experiencing this problem, right?

Yes that's a good point Bradleyo. Usually in these situations it is a combination of things that causes the problem when brought together.

For the record, mine is a Corsair HX 620. Not sure why the PSU would cause a voltage
drop
under load (you'd expect a BSOD) - the fact it can be reduced via settings could indicate its linked to an algorithm (i.e. the BIOS).
Enabling both LLC and PLL OV is keeping the drop at 0.015.
