I am setting up a new build in RAID 1 with Windows 7 64bit OS and don't have the disc for the GA-P55-UD3R.
However the latest drivers were obtained from the Gigabyte website.
On running the self extracting file (motherboard_driver_intel_sataraid_irst.exe) on my laptop to get the drivers, I obtained a further file iata_cd.exe in an IRST folder, which I thought would once again extract the files to a directory like the manual tells me is on the disc.
But no. It asked permission to make changes to my computer, which I didn't proceed with on the laptop.
I doubt that this exe is what the motherboard will be looking for on the SATA RAID/AHCI driver diskette, which in my case will have to be on a USB flash drive.
Am I mistaken? If not, then how can I proceed?
