Who can pass this information to INTEL ?
No motherboards exchanged but 6 ports -4 bads + 6 ports to the add-on card = 8 sata ports !!
I think many users are happy 2 + for the same price

Intel is a very difficult company to contact directly and make you jump through hoops to get to them. Everything has to be done via their distributors.

Well it doesn't say in what numbers they will start shipping the new chips and personally I can't see that they have made them in sufficient quantity yet to have any real imapact on the number of boards involved.
