update  on my rig

Motherboard : Gigabyte X58A UD7 v2  bios to  FC
Memory         :  Kingston hyper x 6 gig triple channel memory 6gb ddr3 1600 cl9 240 pin
CPU               : i7 970 six core
power supply : CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS Certified
Video Card     : XFX HD-583X-ZAFV Radeon HD 5830 1GB 256-bit DDR5 PCI
   
HARD DRIVE IS STILL THE SAME

but would the hard drive make that much of difference in lag     because my old rig was Q6600 with Gigabyte G31 motherboard and 4 gig of memory
same hard drive   and this was running much better   i mean i open like 6 page of you tube  all at the same time  and all played well


this new rig cant, even handle 4 page of you tube

i really need some help

Hi again,

I would suggest that you do a clean install of Windows and the latest driver versions for the chipset from  the Gigabyte website and then see if you still ahve the problem. If not you can install one thing at a time and see what if anything causes it. If you have hte issue after only installing the OS and drivers then at least that narrows it down a lot.
