Gigabyte GA-PH67A-UD3, constant beeping

Gigabyte GA-PH67A-UD3, constant beeping
« on: February 09, 2011, 10:32:04 pm »
Hello!

I just bought a PC and built it on my very own for the first time!

Everything seemed to go pretty well until I was finished. The only thing I did was to attach the power cord to see if everything went well when I booted it, like all fans working etc etc. But when I booted the computer a loud screeching beep started and it was constant. The Phase led lights are orange, orange, green, green from up to down. I reinstalled the CPU fan and the RAM memories in hope of it fixing it which it didn't. I have also attached both the 8pin and the 24pin cords from the PSU.

My setup is

Gigabyte GA-PH67A-UD3
500GB Western Digital Caviar Blue SATA II x2
Corsair 2GB 1333MHz 1.5V Value Select x2
Intel Core i5 2500K 3,3GHz
Gigabyte Radeon HD6950 2GB
Cooler Master Elite 334
Optiarc AD-7260S DVD±RW Svart SATA, OEM
Corsair VX 550W 80

Thank you in advance!

Look the Qualified Vendors List for Memory

http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_ga-ph67a-ud3.pdf

Possible that your sticks are compatible , possible not
*
How did you manage to acquire the motherboard and the processor and RAM chips (completely randomly)?

I have no idea

-> except to check that your installation is well done

-> that you have set the processor / cooler

*
If not remove all of the box

try separately just with the buzzer / speaker , with processor and one RAM chips in the right media

no graphics card , no usb , no keyboard at this time

start if there is still the same noise

I just love the faith some people have ;D

It is quite possible that the modules are not comaptible even though the specs read correctly!
