Hi Ivan,

sadly you don't give us very much to go on. It would really help if you could post back with your system specifications, in particular what make and model of HDD you are using along with your RAM, CPU, make and model of DVD/CD writer and which version of Windows you are trying to install.
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

Absic I think he is trying to load a previous version of Windows installed on another computer. That may be why he's having problems.

Hi. I faced the same problems as you are facing now. I am using a SSD Hard drive and it is a demand that you set it on BIOS in AHCI mode. After that, when I was installing W7 x64, I got stuck on the installation screen without any alert message. What you can try is to download the AHCI driver from Gigabyte`s website, UNZIP IT (very important) and put the UNZIPPED file into a pen drive. After that, boot you system with the Windows installation DVD into your drive and PRESS F6 when the installation begins to load the AHCI driver. This should help you to go through the installation procedure.
