DM was quicker but I won't bother editing my post .
As I read the reviews on this WC kit, several people recommended the Feser UV blue [special cooling fluid] for an extra $29.99. Then there is also the extra cost of the Feser Corrosion Blocker, the Antimicrobial, and the Dead Water Biocidal...and one video showed using the extra UV dye...
You know, I'm not a WC guy but I think all you need is either cooling fluid or distilled water + corrosion blocker and neither of those exceed 20$ on that site. I'm not sure about that anti-bacteria thing but I don't think it's necessary, DM?
About price / performance... that's why I went with Mugen 2 as it was reasonably cheap while offering good enough performance. I mean, a H70 would be close to what I paid for my CPU and that's too much for me.
Bytheway,
Yes, I believe you are correct about using distilled water for a WC kit. I think I also read somewhere people use antifreeze fluid used in automobile cooling systems.
I looked into the Mugen 2. It appears to be a very good CPU cooler but it is presently a discontinued model. I'm also not sure if it would work on the 1155 MOBO's.
For now, the Hyper 212+ seems to be the best choice for a budget minded person like me. They say I can install a push/pull fan set up on it too if I so desire. I also like the design of the direct contact of the heat pipes to CPU.
I plan on pulling the H50 out of my i5-750 build. I thought about gluing it to by baseball cap and using it to cool the back of my head this summer, but people at work might think my elevator does not go all the way up. I suppose I must find another use of it.
