Gigabyte GA-H67A-UD3H-B3 (Custome Built Computer - Needs Help)

Good day to you Everyone
i am planning to built a new computer for myself since the one i have right now is pretty old
what i am Expecting from this computer is : Surfing Internet, Watching HD movies, Some office work related to my college, Some photo Editing
And the most important part is Medium Gaming

i planned almost everything and i need some advice regarding The CPU, RAM and Power Supply
here is my plan

Which CPU to take ?
Which RAM to Get kingstone or Corsair ?
Does the Power Supply i picked Support the Graphic Card and ATI Cross Fire ?

I take it that you have no plans to overclock your system as you have gone for the H67 chipset ?

It's just they are a very easy platform to OC and as long as you get the P67 and the K version of the processor it is free power.

Get the 2500K, the 2600K is way overpriced. The only difference is 2mb of cache and HT.
HT can hurt performance by up to 30% (linpack as an example), typically it has no negative side effect (under 5% = negligible), and at best you'll only see a 30% improvement, which isn't huge.

Yeah True i am not a Big Fan of Overclocking,
So Does the PSU support Cross Fire With that Card (not Intending to do a cross Fire but Just Curious in case i changed my mind in the Future  )
or it is going to be a Bottle neck with a good CPU, good Graphic Card and low speed DDR3-1333 RAMs ?

To be honest it should work fine as you say you are not worried about overclocking so the 1333 memory should be fine and the real world difference between that and 1600 say is negligable.


The motherboard supports Crossfire and so that shouldn't be a problem. It is limited to x4 but unless you are using a fast card that shouldn't be much of a limitation.

You ask if the pSU supports Crossfire, I don't know if you meant that or it was a typo but the PSU should be fine.
