How to access EFI in the new GA P67A-UD3-B3!

Yes obviously if you intend to use a drive larger than 2 TB then you will have to use the EFI for support. Anyway just let us know of your experience with it please.

I will definitely keep you up-to-date on my new build.  As soon as I find a good deal on a 3TB HHD, I will give it a try. 

I am a little confused because somewhere I read that the EFI is only necessary if your 2TB+ HHD is the boot drive [drive with the OS].

Have you heard anything about this?

To be honest, no Soar. I thought it was necessary for it to be able to support any 2 TB+ drive.

No, as you have Win 7 64 bit. See the explanation:



P.S. In case of Win XP 32 bit OS the full capacity of 3TB+ HDDs can be used with help of 3TB+ Unlock Utility.
But then you can't have only 1 partition.

Commodore 64 & ZX Spectrum are still my favourites :-)   No PC or console can match them

My first one was a Commodore VIC 20 the forerunner to the 64 and I still look on it with emotion (not quite sure if that's love or hate though)

No I could never get on well with the rubber keyboard of the Spectrum but I can remember spending many a boring day inputting BASIC line by line and then copying it onto a tape drive. And then, joy of joys, debugging the program

Hi guys,
I just noticed the latest UEFI bios for GA P67A-UD3-B3 and wanted to upgrade. I downloaded the zip, extracted it, and when I start the FLASHEFI file, I gest a message saying that this is not compatible with my Windows version. I run Win 7 HP 64. So I gather the file I downloaded would be just for x86 operating systems?
Well, it seems to me that great most Win 7 users have x64 versions. Most likely you do, too. So what gives?

Any help is much appreciated!
