Hello gigabyte forum.
i have some questions about gtx 480 for you guyz, nothink important just wanna know.
i have 22' monitor at 60 hz, should i use at games that have V-sync enabled? or disable? i have seen with enable its much more better because i dont have lags..
i want some answers please :)

Hi Johnz

By all means have it disabled. It actually works better that way. It is to do with the way the card "paints" the screen. 8)

yes i know what you mean, but i waz uncorrect that i write before :) i had to say "enable" is better for me because my monitor is 60 hz.
if i buy a better monitor yes i know disable is better you understant what i mean?

You should only need to enable it if you are using a CRT monitor as because of the way the gun refreshes the screen it can't keep up with the GPU. Otherwise you won't get any benefit from having it enabled. However if you feel that it is better then by all means trun it on. ;)

can you tell me why when i have it disable in some games when i turn arround i see like i turn slides(lags) i have install the 260.99 drivers. same does with the new ones.

I'm afraid that I can't answer that as to why it should make a difference. Maybe it has something to do with way the driver works. :-\

we dont consider my monitor? maybe is that the "problem"
at meny display from my monitor have some named CLOCK AND PHASE do you know what that does?
i think clock is for the herz "hz" somethink like that i dont know

my monitor is E2240 LG electronics

I don't think there should be any negative sides to having it enabled but if it's causing problems, keep it disabled.

I know that most people don't really care about these things but what about GPU load and possibly lower power consumption and temperatures if your card is more powerful than needed?
