H55M-UD2H drivers

I've noticed that Intel has a new set of chipset drivers but the m/b drivers from Gigabyte site are much older.  Can I download and install the intel chipset drivers or do I need to wait for Gigabyte to updeate their download.

Ahhhhhhhh! just a stones throw from home!......Been living in the fridge for 4 years now, miss it more then ever every time I see a flag!

Anyway......to be honest, motherboard makers can have small tweaks in updates to make them less prone to problems , more-so with Laptops were heat is more an issue, personally I'm of the view, It can't kill me, and if it gives me problems you just 1) roll it back to an earlier date in system restore or   2) roll back individual drivers if they/it develop compatibility problems in system manager.......your call......just an opinion.

Yes, generally the drivers will be more or less the same with a few tweaks done by the motherboard/card manufacturer. You might find that you lose one or two features that are unique to the motherboard if you use the standard drivers.
