I do not understand what you mean by the Memtest Suitable for your system. I tested the memory with the following tools:
Memtest86 + v4.20 (Boot CD)
Memtest v4.0 (Boot CD)
Memtest v4.0 (Windows)
Memory Diagnostic (Windows 7)
I used the default BIOS settings which I put below:
BCLK ............. 133
CPU CLOCK ............... 22X
CPU FREQ ................. 2.96 (133 X 22)
MEMORY FREQ ................. 1066 (133 X
XMP ............................ DISABLE
TIMING ........................ CAS - 7 tRCD - 7 tRP - 7 tRAS - 20 tRC - 27 TRRD - 4, tWTR - 4, TWR - 8 tWTP - 19 TWL - 7 tRFC - 60, TRTP - 4, tFAW - 20, CMD - 1, TRD - 12
VOLTAGE ........................ DRAM - 1.5V, QPI - 1.1V
The results have been that one of the DIMMs (# 1) passes the test with most of the settings while the other DIMM (# 2) does not pass any test with any setting. For this particular configuration the DIMM # 1 is the only one pass without errors.
At this point I have just installed the DIMM has no problems. However, the problem continues.
I tried also disable some technologies that vary the CPU clock and voltage of the microprocessor in dependence on the load you have. But the problem continues.
CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E) ..... DISABLE
C3/C6 STATE SUPPORT ............ DISABLE
CPU EIST FUNCTION ................ DISABLE
I'm still doing tests. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Greetings.
