Hi.
About 1 month ago I bought some new components for my desktop PC.
I got 1 GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD3, 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance in 1 kit CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B and an Intel i5-2500.
I'm having problems of stability with my system under Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit.
Until now I had 1 BSOD (memory_management) and several corrupted files downloaded from http, ftp etc.
I scanned my memory with memtest 4 for Windows with the result that I had a lot of errors.
Then I tryied at the boot with memtest86 4.00 and memtest86+ 4.20 with no errors (more than 10 passes).
I sent memory in RMA to the shop who sold the kit to me. I got a new kit, but the problem remains.
I tryied everything :
- BIOS update from F2 to F4
- Clear the cmos more than one time
- XMP @default (1333MHz) and Profile1 (1600Mhz)
- VTT from 1,05V to 1,10, then and other steps
- DDR Voltage from 1.5V till 1.65V
- Disable USB Legacy (as suggested in other forums)
- Windows 7 is fully updated
- Video card drivers (RADEON HD5770) are updated
- All Gigabyte drivers are installed
- Easytune 6 (latest version) is running at default
- The machine is not in OC or in turbo mode.
I don't really know how to fix it.
Because it's not a RAM problem (as I said, I've changed the kit with a new one), I would like to ask to you if there are known compatibility problems with the Corsair kit. The corrupted files problem is driving me mad.
Can you please help me?
(forgive me for my english)
