Hello,
When I click my computers power button, nothing happens except for two lights on my mobo turn on, the ones right next to the RAM slots, so the over-voltage LED's for the memory, I believe one was orange, the other was slight green. Nothing else happens, no beeps, no fans move, nothing.
So troubleshooting from my mobo's manual doesn't help as the help codes are usually referenced through beeps etc.
I have tried taking out the GPU, I have tried also taking out the RAM one by one and trying different combos, nothing is doing the trick.
I have therefore determined that the issue is likely with the PSU or Motherboard, however tonight after work I am going to try my PSU on a friend's computer, if his computer turns on then I am 99% sure it is a motherboard issue, if that is the case are there any other suggestions you have to try and get my computer back up and running before I file an RMA?
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
PS: here are my specs, and the computer has been running stable for just over two years
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 X58
GPU: Nvidia GTX 260
RAM: 12GB OCZ
CPU: Intel Core i7-940
PSU: Corsair 750W TX
2x 1TB HDD's
Additionally, I have totally cleared/reset the CMOS, not just by clicking the reset button, but by removing the battery in the Mobo for an extended period of time. No luck
