not that im having a go at you guys or anything its just it seems you didnt even read my post and just replied with a generic cut and paste solution to the problem Now I know why I post replys in my own free time, .... this a community forum, no one gets paid, we can't afford form letters, and this is not the first SOC issue I have ever seen!....... When you get it booted up next time, install Gigabytes "Easy tune" clocking facility, this should allow you to drop the setting down say 10%....if that does not work try going back to a stock card setting.......GPU BIOS flashing is not straight forward but there's oodles of tutorials if you goggle....to long to post here!
If down-clocking fixes your issue, you still have the original problem, which is .........You still don't have the card you paid for.....which means an RMA
If it does not fix the problem...........it still could be the card......or drivers..........or hardware!
The best bit of advice I can give you to move forward is put it in a mates PC and test the card at the same settings and same game. And YES! I read all posts from tip to tail........Now for the Humour with a message......When my pet Budgie developed Brain cancer, I asked for a second opinion !
It was still brain cancer.........I loved that Budgie so much I ignored the advice of not one but two people........My budgie still died!
Have a great day.........Aussie Allan
