GA-P67A-UD4-B3 start up problems

Hi all,

I have some issues with new mobo I purchased recently. After cold boot the first screen freezes for random time (from 5s to several minutes). Sometimes I have to reset manually and usually it makes it start normally. Here is my PC specification:

Gigabyte GA-P67A-UD4-B3 (rev.1.1)
Intel Core i7-2600K
Kingston HyperX XMP Genesis Grey 8GB (kit 2x 4GB) 1600MHz
Gigabyte GTX570 1280MB DDR5 GV-N570OC-13I
Nexus RX-6300 630W

Sometimes it will freeze after soft reset from OS (few hours of working) so I don't think it is related to cold boot.
I have updated BIOS to F3 and then to F4,  I checked the memories with memtest and tried to raise the voltage to 1.600v with no luck.

What can cause this problem and how can I proceed further ? Thanks

 Just to make a start....drop your memory from 1600 to 1333 and use it that way for a while.......report back what you find!

    Yup!.....Plenty!......unfortunately!

 First one is do you have any Logitech gear attached ? .... strip out/off all peripherals except the essentials, use a PS2 keyboard if you have one and boot to windows and see if you have a change

  Painful Problem as there's 100s of possible causes........to make a start......a driver conflict is an obvious one..........which means,  painful as it seems....going through and updating/checking all drivers for the latest versions, ... uninstalling completely before re-installing the newies.

 Start with the most obvious ones and check after each boot.... report back your findings

The most ovbious thing to check is what have you got loading at boot up in the BIOS. Things like the floppy disk drive should be disabled if you don't have one and anything else similar. Also enable quick boot and disable the full screen logo etc. All these things can slow down booting tremendously.

Disable legacy/storage USB in bios and you're fine
