Z68-UD3P-B3 multplier issue

I have the above mobo along with a 2500k and 4gb of ram.

I have been running the system at 4.6ghz and  felt like I could go higer, so i changed my multi to 48 and booted into windows fine, however my muti stays at 46, touch bios confirms I have it set to 47 but it is only running at 46, is this a bios issue, can someone using this mobo try the 47 mutli for me?

Try this latest Beta BIOS:

Yep, try an updated BIOS. What vcore and LLC level are you using?

My vcore in bios is 1.335
In windows it's 1.368
In windows on load it's 1.38 using level 6 LLC

Updated to the beta bios posted above, I then reset to defaults and then overclocked my system to 4.7ghz which booted first time at the correct multi, second boot and so on was at 46 multi, there is a definet issue here.....what next

Any ideas before I return my motherboard back to the supplier?

Have you also tried increasing BCLK/DMI/PEG Frequency to 105-110 in order to nudge it firmly over the 100MHz mark... this will push the speed slightly over 4.7 Ghz...?

Also what happens if you try and do x48?

48 multi is the same, shows as 46.

Firstly I am not after a work around, I want a fix.

I have thought about changing the BCLK to 103 which would give me 4.7 but if that's stable I will want to try 4.8 and so on, so it's not a solution for me.

I have read that increasing the BCLK can cause damage, is a slight increase ok?

Can I return my motherboard based on this?

Don't forget that you have to turn Turbo off the reach the higher levels of multiplier.

I allways turn Turbo off.

The multi issue in the beta that has been removed, I am presuming that this is the issue I am having and was this issue present in all bios released?

Touch bios reports a 47 multi but I am clearly still on 47, this is after a cmos reset.

No I haven't, I did find someone else withn the same motherboard with the exact same issue.

Lets see if Gigabyte release a working bios to fix this issue.
