help reducing front fan speed

Front fan is running at 1436 RPMs and the noise is bothersome. I'd like to turn it down a bit.
CPU= 1076 RPM, rear Fan 1=1019 RPM.

Additional info.:
Front fan is 3 pin on SYS-FAN2. I was told here a 4 pin is needed to adjust speed in BIOS. I've download Speed Fan and set it to "Automatic Fan Speed" and it's running at 1406 RPMs. I can't figure out how to run this fan manually in Speed Fan.

Can this fan be turned down?

SYS_FAN2 normally runs at half the speed of the other fans on the motherboard headers anyway. Even if you have a four pin plug on the fan unless it complies with the specs it won't be possible to control it.  You could always invest in a dedicated fan controller. These range from a few pounds to about fifty pounds. It is also the safer option too as the motherboard headers have been known to burn out if too much load is attached.

Thank you. The fan is running over 400 RPMs faster than the CUP and the rear exhaust fans. I'll look into a fan controller or another 120mm fan.

It might just be that it is a faster spinning fan than the others and even at a lesser power input it is still turning faster.
