Just got the motherboard a few days ago.
I had problems with connecting to LAN within windows ( I would have to disable and then re-enable the network adapter in order to connect), so I updated the Driver, didn't help.
So I flashed BIOS to the latest version (F4) both within the @bios utility and within BIOS. When I rebooted PC, I would get colored lines at the bottom of the screen when windows loaded (but not when booting/loading windows) AND windows did NOT detect a Network Device. I went back into the BIOS, and tried the "SMART LAN" and tried the cable test, it does not work at all. I also tried enabling Onboard LAN Boot ROM, does not do anything. I also tried disabling onboard h/w lan, rebooting, then enabling it, rebooting, does nothing.
So it seems both windows and BIOS does not detect the network adapter at all.
I also tried disconnecting/reconnecting the network cable, tried another one, and the lights never flash at the back of the LAN port.
So I rolled back, tried EVERY BIOS version, both through @bios and q-flash
Also, in the original BIOS with the computer, I had the ability to change PCIE settings, but every other BIOS i've installed since the original do not have this setting at all.
Is the onboard network adapter destroyed?
