"Standby" power-saving only available using Smart 6 Quickboot?

Yes, with GA-P55-UD6.  Sorry if I'm boring anyone.

I've installed all the chipset drivers, etc.  If I look at the shutdown menu either from the Start menu or in the Task manager (Win XP) I notice that Standby is not available as an option, nor is hibernate.

Are these tied to installing Smart 6 and enabling Quickboot?

Standby should be there as default  ??? though if you wish to enable hibernation you need to go to control panel, power options, Hibernate...then enable hibernation

I had no standby or hibernate until I installed my graphics drivers.
