FlexBay USB ==> Standard USB header??

I got an old Samsung card reader with a
Flexbay USB connector
(10-pins). Would the flexbay connector compatible with the USB header (9-pins) on my GA-EP45-UD3L mobo?

By flexbay i'm guessing you mean the ribbon-like-cable which dells use? If so I doubt it, as the ends are compleatly different and would require re-wiring, is probably easier just to buy a new internal card read. They're only £10 or so these days

Actually thinking about it you maybe able to, as some flexbays had the same layout as the onboard USB header....if it looks like it will fit you will just need to work out which way it goes

Usb pinout diagram here,
http://pinouts.ru/Slots/USB_pinout.shtml
Check it out twice before you connect up
Use a meter if you got one just to be sure,
As oggmonster states why not get a new one, there cheap enough,
