Ga-970a-UD3 and memory oveclocking

Hello , Just wondering how other people have done overclocking their memory or not as the case may be ...
I've got 2x2GB Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz cl9 ... An experience I'm finding underwhelming ...
Best I've managed is 1699mhz stably @ 9-9-9-24 1t
but
1519mhz @ 8-8-8-20 1t is better giving me 15gb's bandwidth .
Other numbers are I can't get over 285mhz stably for the cpu frequency .

Often it is better to tighten the timings rather than icrease the speed. This memory is great at standard timings but doesn't overclock briliantly never mind what Corsair advertises.

When I had a set of Corsair XMS3 CL9-9-9-24-41-2T 1.65v 2x2gb Kit, at those speeds I was able to acheive 1900mhz on them with my 1055T's NB @ 2860mhz

If you want to go for a breakneck OC, drop the command rate to 2T, and push em. if you want a cooler, longer lasting OC, drop them into 1333 and push for 7-7-7-24-33-1t or better.
