Overclocking problem with motherboard Gigbayte GA-A75-UD4H

Hello,

I am polish redactor, who is testing motherboards. Today, I got A75-UD4H for testing. I have a problem with host APU. I tried to overclock BCLK but I can't reach the barrier of 107 MHz. Also I tried all settings of ratio CPU and memory clock. I event turned off controler USB, but even this one didn't work. I would appreciate, some ideas how to deal with this problem.

My PC configuration:

APU - A8-3850
Memory - Goodram Value RAM 2x1 GB 1333 MHz + 1x1 GB 1333 MHz
Hard disk - WD Caviar Blue 500 GB 16 MB cache.
Power supply - Corsair 400W

Hi there,

to be honest I don't know too much about these APU's and how they overclock but I came across this article: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-a8-3850-llano,2975-7.html at Tom's Hardware that might point you in the right direction.

I do have to say though, that I didn't think these processors were designed to be overclocked and as such, you might be fighting a losing battle. From what I have read the gains in CPU performance, if any, are minimal and in fact overclocking can hamper the Graphics side of things.
