Hello.
I would really like to use th VT-d feature of the X58 chipset on my GA-X58A-UD3R 2.0, but I haven't found anyway to enable it on this board. Some said in a different forum that pressing Ctrl+F1 in the BIOS main menu would unhide a menu called "Advanced Chipset Feature", but pressing Ctrl+F1 om my board the screen just flashes and nothing new shows. I have tried different BIOSes (FG1, FH1 and FH3) but with same result. I don't know why Gigabyte would hide this feature in the first place, while overvolting and overclocking settings are unhid (that's the stuff that damages the computer, not VT-d). My last option is to exchange this board with the Asrock X58 Extreme in my main rig that's working with VT-d.
My setup:
GA-X58A-UD3R 2.0
Xeon E5606
24GB (6x4GB) of 1333MHz ECC memory
GeForce 6200TC
Anyone have a clue how to enable VT-d on this board?
Thanks in advance
