Hey guys, I have some questions about this motherboard. The box says H67A-UD3H-B3 but the manual says Ga-H67A-UD3H-B3 so I am wondering which one it is. I am wanting to upgrade to 8 gb of ram, I currently have 4. I read my motherboard manual and it says "4 x 1.5V DDR3 DIMM sockets supporting up to 32gb of system memory, Support for DDR3 1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules." Should I be buying a 2 x 4gb kit of ram, or 2 kits of 2 x 2gb ram?
And I should buy 1333 mhz not 1600? The current ram i have is 2 x 2gb corsair 1.65V. It says my motherboard supports 1.5V so I am wondering if this is a bad thing. Also last thing, It says Multi-Graphics technology in the manual, "Support for ATI CrossFireX" I am currently using a Nvidia GTX 460. Is this fine even though it's Nvidia, I just can't do SLI?

  "GA" Stands for "GIG-A-BYTE"...... At a wild guess......there the exact some board

  For max compatibility.....2 X 4Gb Modules will fit the bill better although 4 x 2Gb sticks should do the trick too ..... confused ?  ..... if there is a compatibility issue,..... filling all slots will raise the odds of a problem slightly higher then using just two Modules....make sense?

  Nvidia or ATI are fine with your board......you just can't add another Nvidia 460 and link them (SLI) were as ATI cards you can......(Crossfire)

  The Memory .... Bargain price ...... I'd be getting 16Gb at that price (I'm a guts!) and yes it should be fine ..... if the board states it'll support 1333 .....it will.

Thanks for the answers. The ram I am planning on buying is it good? And programs such as memtest, prime95 and some other ones are they free? If not is there any other programs that can test my hardware? Also looking around on new egg theres a 16 gb ram kit for $89.99 - $99.99, I wouldn't mind paying $40 more for double the ram. But would this be a bad thing, I notice it comes with 4 sticks of 4gb and my motherboard supports "dual channel".

 If you're solely a gamer......8Gbs is heaps..........if you do a bit of photo/video editing..........you can never have too much.

  Gskill is OK ..... every one has there personal favorites...........Mushkin is very good.....as too is Corsair

  And as you discovered the dedicated kits are the way to go as there've been tested as a unit to run together and have passed that manufactures quality control.......as I stated earlier .... filling all the slots sometimes needs a little extra tweaking to run stable at full speed but not a guarantee you'll run into problems

  filling all the slots with 4 GB modules just means you have 8GBs per channel....... personally I think programs will just get hungrier and hungrier and 16Gb systems will be the norm high end machines within 3 years

  Can you post the full spec of the 16Gb kit ?

Just because the specs don't mention 1600mhz as being supported the chances are that it will work fine. It is just that it is looked on as an overclock as it is beyond the JEDEC limit of 1333 and so motherboard manufacturers didn't like to say it was supported. Now they are less worried about such things.

      push come to shove,......Corsair over Skill.......even their PSUs are pure , living quality right down to the Packaging and warranty's 

  Reputation for compatibility comes into play as well.....................COOL Price you have there to boot!

I have the very same kit myself that I bought for my review system. They are good modules but don't overclock like Corsair says they do at least in my experience. I see no reason why they wouldn't work ok in your system too.
