Help with Marvell BIOS with GA-990FXA-UD3
« on: October 02, 2011, 11:16:50 pm »
I've been trying to install Windows 7 Ultimate on a fresh Raid 0 (2xHitachi Sata3-2TB).
When I finally get into the Marvell Bios Utility the RAID option is grayed out and no options are available to me. The Adapter 0 in the Selection area is present but still I can't "Create Virtual Disk".  I've gotten to this point after a good amount of effort, What am I missing?

Hi there,

you might like ot check through this thread: http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,5704.msg45818.html#msg45818 where I go through setting up a RAID0 Array on the Marvell controller as it may help answer your problem.

That was a great help, thank you.  It was getting late in the states...didn't see that one. Cheers.
