5 Awards for GA-Z68AP-D3
« on: October 18, 2011, 05:09:48 pm »
4.5 out of 5 Stars Award from PCFormat Issue 258 / TechRadar
"If you're looking to build a budget Sandy Bridge machine the Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 will give you relevant performance compared with pricier boards and allow you to spend more in other areas of your build."
http://www.techradar.com/reviews/pc-mac/pc-components/motherboards/gigabyte-ga-z68ap-d3-1026263/review

Must Have Award (9.5 out of 10 Stars) from Kit Guru
"The GA-Z68AP-D3 Z68 makes an ideal purchase for an enthusiast who doesn’t want to spend the guts of £200 on a flagship motherboard. In reality there is little missing from the budget Gigabyte product, USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gbps performance is first class and we recorded some of the best throughput yet with the class leading Patriot Wildfire Solid State drive.(...)
If you are in the market for a new system and want to keep the costs down as low as possible, then this is one of the best motherboards on the market. If you partner it up with a Core i5 2500k and some decent, inexpensive DDR3 memory then you will be futureproofed for some time yet. Adding a single card now, then another later will ensure you will be playing the latest Direct X 11 games at 1080p without a problem.(...)
Kitguru says: One of the bargain products of 2011."

Approved (74%) Award from bit-tech
"We’re slightly flabbergasted by the Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3. It hits a surprising price point for a decent Z68-based motherboard, and in doing so makes one of the key features of the Z68 chipset (Smart Response) actually relevant. This is great news, and when twinned with its good performance and overclocking, makes the board very appealing."

Silver Award and Amazing Value Award from Vortez
"It’s great at some things and good at others, that said the actual results we have shown in this review are compared against high-end offerings and flagships – against these motherboards the D3 actually did admirably and can be commended. You wouldn’t expect a board of its calibre to overclock so well either, 4.9GHz was possible under air cooling – those with doubts that this motherboard can overclock well can be reassured that it can be pushed further than you would imagine.(...)
Consider the performance, overclocking and features and you have yourself some real ‘bang for buck. "

More great reviews there! This board is a really good buy for the money and as long as there are all the features you need you really can't go wrong with it.

The GA-Z68-D3 Z68AP an ideal purchase for an enthusiast who will not spend the guts of £ 200 on a motherboard lighthouse. In reality, there is no shortage of budget GB, USB 3.0 and SATA 6 Gbps performance is top notch and we took some of the best speed, but with the ruling class Patriot Wildfire Solid State Drive.
