LAN Not Working on brand new motherboard
« on: November 04, 2011, 08:40:54 am »
Hi,

Just bought a new Gigabyte Z68A-D3-B3 and the LAN port is completely off. Tried several cables, it's enabled in the BIOS. I've flashed the BIOS and followed some online tutorials to try to get it working but with no luck.

Could this be faulty or is there something else I should try? I've installed the drivers but it said the port may be in deep sleep mode.

I've logged a support call but when I log in there is an application error and I don't know where to report it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome.

The first thing is to ask GGTS for help as they take a while to answer normally.

Just enter your email address and click on the language of choice.
GGTS   http://ggts.gigabyte.com/

Please expect several days for a reply.

Next you mention that you have flashed the BIOS. How did you do it ?

What was the original BIOS version and what is the new one ?

Hi,

I've tried logging on to the Technical Support but it takes me to an Application Error page.

I flashed the BIOS by using the Q9 Flash utility (I think that's what it is called).

Original F2 -> New F9
