What is this Mobo

What is this Mobo
« on: November 15, 2011, 04:33:21 am »
I have a GA-EP43-UD3L  and this might sound dumm but images showh for mobo show memory ports to be yellow and red, sata ports yellow. Boare id maked as GA-EP43-UD3L. On my mobo there are blue and white, sata blue. My question is: is this just a mistake when made when swiching over run at time. If you look at images of EP43T-USB3 rev 1.0. Thats what my mobo looks to be. Been having some issues with memory. At timed memory chips need to be reseated for mobo to boot up. Memory is Corsair Dominator Cm2X2048-8500C5D  x 2 kits installed.
I hope this is the right spot to post.  And my CPU is  CPU = Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 2.83gb quad core 12mb Catch
Thanks in advance if anyone knows something about this color mismatch

Hi and welcome.

I am not doubting your word but this has never come up before on the forum and it is rather funny. Are you 100% sure that you haven't made a mistake in identifying your motherboard. Only trust the printed white text on the board  and the revision number printed in white near the bottom left hand corner of the board. If possible take a photo of the board and post it here. :-\

Hi there:
I have the same mobo, rev 1.2  It is the blue white theme, but the picture shows the red, yellow and green.
I think after the rev. 1.0, the color theme was switched to blue, white to match the rest of Gigabytes
color themes for their other  boards.
As Dark Mantis said, only trust the markings on the board, for bios updates and software from Gigabyte.
Don't go by the pictures, as board components are subject to change with time and supply availability.
Hope this answers your questions and/or concerns.
