Hi and welcome.

Have you manually entered the timings and voltage for the memory in the BIOS ? If not that could be the problem.

Firstly have you made sure that the memory is compatible with your motherboard via Kingston's online QVL ?

In that case I will explain how to manually set it all up. Go into the BIOS and go to the MIT section. Scroll down until you find an entry called Advanced DRAM Features and press Enter. This will enable you to set the voltage for the memory. Make it 1.68v and then press enter again. (You may need to increase this to 1.70v but start with the lower voltage first). Go back into MIT again and this time find Advanced DRAM Features, uinder that section you will see an entry DRAM Timing Selectable that willl be set to Auto. Below this you should see Channel A Timing Settings click on it and then enter the following timings in the first sections that you come across starting with CAS. 9-9-9-27 and then press enter to exit.

Press F10 to save and exit the BIOS. If that works alright then you can just leave it there if not try increasing the first voltage to 1.70v. You will need to increase the QPI/Vtt setting also to keep it in line with the DRAM voltage though. Do not let it get more than 0.50v maximum difference.

This is what GIGABYTE support guys told me

Dear Mr. Taha,

Thank you for supporting GIGABYTE products. In fact, new version BIOS can fix some known system problem or improve H/W compatibility, please kindly using the latest @BIOS utility to update BIOS version. To click @BIOS function "Update New BIOS" and select the BIOS file which you download from our website. Before update BIOS version, please do not forget to extract it first.

You can click here to download BIOS version and the latest @BIOS utility. After bios updating, please do not forget to load BIOS fail-safe default setting and please also do not try to overclock your system at this moment.

For more information about BIOS upgrading, please click HERE.

Furthermore, there are several possibilities to cause memory recognition issue. Please find the information below and see whether it helps.

If possible, we would suggest you to test with other pair modules and see if problem remains.

Please check where you saw 16 GB memory capacity. Is during POST or in OS? Please go to BIOS setting and press F9 to find system information. You can either provide us the data or attach the screen shot of the detection result.

Besides, please also find those information in Windows and see whether the report is the same.

If you had tested memory modules from other brand and problem remains, please contact your supplier (where you bought the MB) and see if they can do further examination on your platform to find out the root cause.

Best Regards,
GIGABYTE

Hi Taha,

Just take a time for clearly have a good informations...

I check on this weblink :
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3571#bios
Your motherboard have a 3 BETA BIOS.
It is important do not use a Beta Bios.
Use only by exemple Bios F3 (it is more recent)

Your version of Windows is the Windows Professionnal, your are sure? 64bit  x64.
Have you a SP1... Service Pack One, for Window 7 installed?
Because if you have a Windows Home Premium, is have a momory limit at 16Gb Ram.

Have you tried Overclocking CPU or Ram in your Bios? if yes , Make a Clear Cmos:

If you want make a clear cmos, read it :

Hi

The first thing to try is to clear the CMOS. Please follow these instructions exactly.

Remove the power cable from the mains supply and then press the power switch on the case for a few seconds just to drain any residual energy in the PSU capacitors.

Once done remove the motherboard battery for at least one hour before replacing it.

Next plug back into the mains supply and boot.

You will now need to enter the BIOS by pressing DEL and load Optimised BIOS Defaults.

Make any other changes to the BIOS settings to suit your self like disabling the floppy drive, disabling the full screen logo and making the HDD the primary boot device and then press F10 to save and exit.

EDIT01:
Yes before (AND After) change or flash Bios, make a Clear CMOS.

================================================
Questions by GB :  test with other pair modules and see if problem remains.

Your answer: 1-i tried with other pair modules and it didn't work
8-i have tried to test the Memory slots one by one so first i installed only one ship in slot # 5 and it boot successfully
after that i installed it in slot # 6 it didn't boot  (Gloup comments : Maybe because your graphics card is not inserted properly... check it)
My Questions :
You tried new stick of ram OR you tried same and actual stick of Ram (your First Post) ?

When you tried it, you put a stick of ram by single channel (for just a One stick installed, of course)
OR by Dual Channel OR by tree (3) Channel ? you have tried Dual and check a results? and 3 Channel and check a results ?

Last thing : Continuous long beeps means Graphics card not inserted properly

Your video card have a Samsung memory OR a hynix memory? Check chip on the card, if you have capable.
Your actual bios on video card is for samsung or Hynix?

May i ask you why don't use BETA??
the gigabyte team told me to use it???
any way i have tried all of them but non of them have worked with me

Have you a SP1... Service Pack One, for Window 7 installed?
Because if you have a Windows Home Premium, is have a momory limit at 16Gb Ram.

i have windows professional 64-bit and am sure and for more testing i have tried ultimate and windows server 2008 R2

Have you tried Overclocking CPU or Ram in your Bios? if yes , Make a Clear Cmos:

i have tried over clocking the CPU i don't know how over clock the RAM and i did Clear the CMOS

My Questions :

Let me clear this for you
when i bought the PC i didn't think about the compatibility of RAM so i just ordered a 24-GB RAM Kingston and it worked fine for 2 weeks then suddenly my PC hang out then it restarted and i saw message (Recovering Lost DRAM size) then i turned off the PC and i take off all the RAM's out then i installed them again then it didn't work out until today so i went to the supplayer i told him about this he suggests to me to change the RAM so they bought for me a HYPER Kingston and it did work out for 1 day then again same problem then i went to gigabyte and i saw that the RAM it's not compatible so i bought another compatible one also it didn't work so,
i tested the slots one by one i tried a single Channel first slot #5 it worked then at the same Channel slot # 6 it gave me the BeeB sound so itried the dual channel i installed 4 RAM's i should see 16-GB but i only see 8-GB

Last thing : Continuous long beeps means Graphics card not inserted properly
are you sure about that because i can see the windows detecting the Card and also i have installed the driver for it

Your video card have a Samsung memory OR a hynix memory? Check chip on the card, if you have capable.
Your actual bios on video card is for samsung or Hynix?

i don't know how to know what is samsung or hynix??

sorry man to bother you i have wrote allot LOL

but i have to tell you i returned my PC to the shop that i bought from and they are a partner of GIGABYTE and they may replace the motherboard for me i don't know i have a feelings that the RAM Channels are corrupted maybe
but i am disappointed cuz i couldn't solve this you know cuz i am an IT specialist ;D

so thanks allot for your help and if you have any idea please light me here dude... :-*

Hi every one
Gloup_Gloup and Dark Mantis

thanks for both of you guys for trying to help me out in this problem

my problem got solved thanks to god and the solution was changing the mother board

i went to the supplier that i have bought my PC from and i gave them a copy from last email i got from GIGABYTE team and they straightly changed the mother board for me and it worked every thing is fine until now and i can see 24-GB RAM

the maintenance section them self they don't know what is the problem they couldn't figure out what it was

for me i think it was one of the RAM Channels has corrupted (Hardware Problem) ???

so any way thanks allot for all of you and this was the last email from GIGABYTE Support team

Dear Mr. Taha,

Thank you for supporting GIGABYTE products. We are sorry to hear that the problem remains after testing, then it is possible something wrong with your hardware. The system needs further examination to determine the problem. Meanwhile, because we can hardly define the root cause without looking at the platform, we suggest you to contact your supplier (where you bought the product) and see if they could help you do the further examination.

Notice: The warranty terms are dependent on your sale of contract and are what ever your supplier sold you. Please kindly contact your supplier and they shall follow a standard RMA procedure and send the board to the local distributor for RMA service for you.

Best Regards,
GIGABYTE

I have post this just for every one's information

Thanks allot :)
