SpeedFan and P67A-UD5-B3
« on: December 28, 2011, 01:11:27 pm »
Hello
Has anyone every got SpeedFan to work on a P67A-UD5-B3?
Installs ok and can see my fan1 speed but how you set it up to control it is anybodies guess.
I have been at it for two hours now and not moved forward one inch…

Most Incomprehensible software I have ever used.

Any ideas anyone please?
imk

Hi amk123, ;)

Welcome to forum,

What is your tower or any case?

If a fans have their own control like a on-off button or a min-middle-max range button, PowerFan can not controller.

Case fans (120mm) have own speed controller not from the MB these I turn down until almost silent.
But gives enough air flow to cool CPU when idle... So only need the CPU fan to kick in when load increses..
And this is where I need some CPU only fan speed controller software.... Like SmartGuardian.....

Any ideas please.
