x38a-ud3r (2.0) FH3 Front Panel Static
« on: January 09, 2012, 01:35:37 pm »
Hi, I recently updated my firmware to FH3.
Now there is static noise from my front panel audio.
It wasnt there before the firmware updated.
I tried different earbuds/headphones and it appears to all of them.
BIOS setting is more or less the same before the updated.

Hi and welcome.

If you are sure that it wasn't there before the BIOS update then I would advise either flashing to a newer BIOS version if there is one. If not try dropping back to an earlier version. Make sure that you uise QFlash and not @BIOS  as it is much safer. On the QFlash homepage untick the setting Keep DMI Data before continuing with the flash. Afterwards make sure that you load Optimised BIOS Defaults as well as any personal settings you want to make.

The FH3 is the lastest BIOS.
I had reset the BIOS and it was gone.

I have another question.
For the Realtek HD Audio Manager, it used to have a room correction feature.
Now after the new BIOS update, it doesnt have it anymore.
I am also using the lastest audio manager too.
How do I get it back?
