How long is warranty for graphic cards

My 9800 GX2 (GV-NX98X1GHI-B) is died after 14 months of life ... My reseller told me to contact Gigabyte for the warranty over 1 year (the first year warranty was covered by my reseller I think)... there is an extension or what? Anyone can expain me the procedure for don't trash my poor 9800GX2!?!?!
