MOBO for Athlon II x4 620 (Does MT/s matter?)

So, the offering market for motherboards is really limited where I live, and a bit expensive, so I want to buy what I need and not more than that. I already bought a video card (XFX Radeon HD 6750 1gb DDR5), not the best, but want to try some games. I also got really good ram memory (G Skill Sniper 2x4gb-1600. Yeah, i know about the 1333 deal with AM3), and I already had a processor (Amd Athlon II x4 620 2.6gb) to go with it. I wanted to ask about this to keep it in mind for my purchase: does the MT/s (HyperTransport rate, megatransfers per second, etc) specs of a motherboard matter when playing games, programming or doing office work? I've read that HyperTransport is bidirectional so, for example, 2000 MT/s would translate to 1000 ghz of CPU speed? Does that mean that, if I have a 2.6 ghz processor, it won't be able to work full until I get a 5200 MT/s motherboard? I know the RAM memory bus is a different one, but I read that HyperTransfer is the one connecting to the chipset. Also, model recommendations if you'd be so kind, even though I'm not sure I'll be able to get what you guys can recommend me where I live...

The difference is so small in real world applications that the amount of time the difference makes isnt going to be that visably noticable.  It does help but it isnt the only thing you have to look for. It is a match of all parts that makes the biggest difference.
