Z68AP-D3 motherboard connectors

I'm trying to build a computer using a Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 motherboard with an Intel i7-2600 Quad-Core Processor (3.4GHz, 8MB Cache, Socket 1155) with Kingston HyperX/8GB DDR3L1600MHz CL9 Non-ECC KIT2. The SSD is Samsung 830 256GBps. Plus 2 Samsung F3 HD103SJ 1T internal hard drives and a Sapphire 11190-02-20G HD 6450 1 GB DDR3 graphics card. Not having assembled a computer before, the connections are mysterious. I've fixed in place the motherboards, processor, RAM memory, hard-drives, SSD, graphics card and DVD. My problem is connecting which cables where.
There are five small separate cables called Power SW, -P LED, +P LED, Reset SW (tend +/-HDD LED. Should they be connected to the F Panel socket at bottom corner of motherboard in a white plastic surround. In tiny writing underneath in two rows it says top row: +MSG, +PW, blank, +SPEAK. the lower row (also left to right) it says: +HD,-RES, -C1, PWR LED.

IS THERE A WAY OF FINDING OUT HOW TO CONNECT EVERYTHING? THERE ARE LOTS OF CABLES WHICH REMAIN UNCONNECTED IN MY EXISTING OLD COMPUTER. I AM OBVIOUSLY CLUELESS BUT WOULD LIKE TO COMPLETE A WORKING COMPUTER. ANY HELP OUT THERE?

Hi and welcome.

I know it all sounds like double dutch but if you check you manual you will find that the connections are listed by a diagram in there. The power switch, speaker, power LED, hard drive LED and maybe the reset switch are the only ones that you really need to connect up. PWR will be for the power switch and it doesn't matter which way round these go. HDD LED is for the hard drive activity and the LED must be connected with the plus side to the positive terminal. The SPKR is for the speaker and normally will be a four pin socket but only the outer two pins will be connected. RES for the reset switch and  again doesn't matter which way around it is connected.
