Z68A-DH3-B3 hard freezing while loading webpages

Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to PC building and tweaking, so please forgive me if I make any mistakes or ask dumb questions.
I recently put together a build for a friend and have been having some freezing issues, usually when loading webpages (mostly in chrome, but a few times in IE too).  Sometimes, chrome will give me an error screen saying that the browser has run out of cache once I pull it up after restart.  It also happened when I was downloading swtor a couple times.  The hardware is as follows -

Gigabyte GA-Z68A-DH3-B3
Intel core i5 - 2400
Corsair Vengeance 8gb 1600mhz CL9 DDR3
Crucial m4 128gb SSD
Sapphire Radeon HD 6870
Corsair CX600 PSU

Now, what I've done to try to fix it.  I've swapped both RAM sticks in and out.  Adjusted the RAM clock to 1600 and set the boost settings from turbo to standard.  Next I was going to try to disable the C3/C6 and maybe the C1e, but I wanted to check with you guys first.  The freeze is intermittent, but bad enough that the power button doesn't work, only the reset and sometimes it happens almost immediately after start up.  Please help!!

Have you set Bios to load optimized defaults? Also have you loaded the latest Bios?

I'll try to load the new BIOS tonight and see what happens, and is there a setting in the BIOS to load the optimized defaults?

Yes there is a setting. Just look through your bios and you will find it, just load optmized defaults and save.
