Bios and SLAT (RVI,EPT)

Bios and SLAT (RVI,EPT)
« on: July 01, 2012, 03:39:40 am »
I am preparing to purchase three motherboards and CPUs, likely AMD, to run Windows 8.  I can clearly identify CPUs that offer SLAT support for client-side Hyper-V but I'm concerned that I could end up with motherboards that do not have an option to enable SLAT (RVI,EPT).  I downloaded a manual for one board that mentioned virtualization of some kind but not SLAT.  I don't expect the Neweggs of the world to know which boards support this in the BIOS.  How can I determine which motherboards support SLAT in their BIOS?

Thanks

Hi and welcome.

I think your best course of action would be to contact the technical department and ask them. They have more info regarding this type of thing than is available to us mere mortals.
