I am the proud owner of a system with a P67X-UD3-B3 Gigabyte motherboard. My BIOS is up to date. I was having problems with the Etron USB 3.0 ports freezing, but I upgraded from Etron driver version 105 to 112. (113 was buggy when I tried it.) Now USB 3.0 works fine.
But I am still having a problem with the USB 2.0 ports. It seems to only happen on my memory card reader in my hp printer which is on a long USB repeater cable approx 5 meters. I tried a non-repeater cable and could not even get the printer to work let alone the memory card reader.
Both straight cable and repeater cable work okay with an older system with an Asus motherboard on that printer & memory card reader.
Any ideas besides getting another memory card reader and hooking it up closer to the system box?
