First post here, but I'm having trouble finding out a few things:
First and foremost, does the GA-EP45-UD3L even support AHCI for windows XP 32-bit?
Maybe my question should be "does windows xp 32-bit support AHCI?" because there is an AHCI option in the bios.
There are two sets of SATA ports to use. I think there are two separate HD controllers, each one serving some portion of the total ports.
Do I need to be using one in particular? I'm using a 1TB hitachi HD with at least SATA2 support.
If so, where can I find the driver? There are tons of drivers floating around, and since the ICH10 and ICH10R are present on so many systems, there are tons of misleading search results.
Also, there is supposed to be an install disc (I bought the mobo used, so no disc) with the driver on it. If anyone has a link to an ISO of the disc, that would be great too.
